In the time of the Marquise de Sévigné and the Sun King, an accomplished gentleman had to be a skilled fencer. Whether a courtly game or a deadly exchange, this art consisted - in the words of Molière - of "touching without being touched". Initiate yourself to this discipline in the company of an instructor... only in a courteous manner, of course!

Festivals and entertainment at Château de Grignan

A guided tour under special conditions prior to the opening to the public. You'll enter the grand life of the Count and Countess in the 17th century: theatre, dance, music, choice food... nothing is too good for the Count in his little Versailles in Provence.
