The 36th edition of the Fêtes nocturnes presents L’Avare de Molière. A jubilant comedy with cascading intrigues, where the old Harpagon does not skimp on lies, low blows and impostures to satisfy... his incurable greed!
In a refined scenography, Jérôme Deschamps gives the leading role to the great art of Molière and mischievously embodies the ferocious Harpagon, whose humanity he reveals. Major artist of French theater, grand-nephew of Jacques Tati, he is also the creator of the cult series Les Deschiens. He surrounds himself with a brilliant troupe of ten actors, magnified by the costumes of Macha Makeïeff.
Burlesque, quirky and wacky to perfection, this Miser has something to delight the spectators in the starry nights of the Château de Grignan!
